Free GTA $1.5M Was on the Table Before the Kortz Center Heist (Expired)

Rockstar handed out up to GTA$1.5 million in free in-game cash, and the window closed July 13. It was part of the Fine Art Collector Program, the prep event leading into GTA Online's Kortz Center Heist. Whether or not you cared about the heist, the free cash was worth grabbing, and it was a low-effort way to practice the money game before GTA 6.

Here's what was on the table.

The three free rewards

1. Log in for GTA$500,000. Players who played GTA Online at least once before July 13 got half a million plus a free Benefactor Turreted Limo, an armored car, from Warstock.

2. Run any one heist for GTA$1,000,000. Completing any heist before July 13 banked another million plus a NOOSE outfit. Cayo Perico solo was the fastest way to tick the box.

3. Mansion owners got an Art Studio discount. Mansion owners who logged in during the event received a GTA$1,000,000 discount on the Art Studio upgrade plus a free Annihilator Stealth helicopter.

Stacking the first two meant up to GTA$1.5 million for things players were probably going to do anyway. Rockstar delivered event rewards within about 72 hours.

What was confirmed

Why this mattered for GTA 6

Here's the VCH angle. Heists are how the GTA economy pays big, and the mechanics that make them profitable, planning, approach choice, prep versus payout, are the same instincts you'll use when GTA 6's economy opens on November 19.
