For five years, GTA 6 weather was pure rumor. On September 25, that changed.

Game Informer revealed its GTA 6 cover story: 14 pages built on interviews with several of Rockstar's lead designers, focused on how Rockstar built Leonida and Vice City. Among the "never-before-shared features" it lists: advanced weather systems that simulate Florida's "less sunny weather phenomena."

That is the first time weather in GTA 6 has been described on the record as a system. As RockstarINTEL noted, fans had rumours and patents, but nothing official from Rockstar until now. CONFIRMED.

What Is Still a Rumor

Hurricanes. The idea has circulated since 2021, when an unverified account claimed GTA 6 would feature hurricanes and gators. The Game Informer announcement does not use the word "hurricane." Until the full story goes live, hurricanes, tornadoes, and flooding remain RUMOR. Anyone calling them confirmed today is guessing.

Why Weather Is a Money Story

The Wildlife Detail Nobody Is Talking About
