RUMOR: Insider Tom Henderson replied "August" to a user asking about the trailer. That's a one-word reply from someone with a real track record, which makes it worth noting — and still not confirmation.
COMMUNITY: Industry watchers have floated a late-July to mid-August window, reasoning that the World Cup has passed and the marketing campaign is now underway.
The Part Most Sites Are Getting Wrong
OUR TAKE: The "unusual Friday means big news" theory is the weakest link in the chain, and it's doing the most work in most write-ups.
Companies generally avoid Friday announcements because news gets buried over a weekend. The theory asks you to believe Take-Two picked the burial slot because it has something to bury attention under. That's not a signal, it's a shape you can read either direction. A schedule change is a schedule change.
